Someone recently called my attention to this article published in 2011 by Asia News: Vatican: a world authority for an economy free of “market idolatry.” From that article I quote the header:
A document of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. The crisis shows the need to subordinate finance to politics. Globalization requires an “impartial authority, with the power to decide through democratic processes and to sanction in accordance with law.” Among the “steps” the establishment of a tax on financial transactions.
I haven’t found the document of the Pontifical Counsel for Justice and Peace but the article published by Asia News includes some quotes.
The “technocratic ideology” and ” market idolatry,” said Secretary of the Pontifical Council, Msgr. Mario Toso, “had a negative impact on the globalized international financial and monetary system, causing inequalities in terms of sustainable economic development, and serious problems of social justice, especially putting a strain on the weakest people. They need to be overcome “by constructing a new thought, a new global humanism, open to transcendence, that of the primacy of being rather than having, where more’ person friendly’ ethics command, ie an ethic of brotherhood and solidarity and the subordination of economics and finance to politics, one that is responsible for the common good. “
A lifetime of listening to Progressive drivel has given me some practice in understanding doubletalk. I am sure some you can see through this also. Under the guise of installing a UN-like international authority to make the world’s economy more just, the objective is to freeze every country in position — for all practical purposes to freeze economic history — in the same manner that the victors of the II World War froze the political gears of the postwar world. Those countries still remain the permanent members of the UN Security Council. Thus a number of national delegates will have their hands forever on the steering wheel of this new supranational economic authority. A Progressive’s dream come true. I thought almost immediately of Revelation 17:12-14
“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
These are most likely organizations shaped like the UN, NATO, the IMF, and various other international organizations that manage huge pieces of the world economy, military might, ecological efforts, etc. but are not countries per se. Things are getting quite clear. The first step was infiltrating the Church with Progressives and Globalists of various kinds. Then, having gained control of the top hierarchy, the power and prestige of the Church is used to pump more Progressivism into a world already desolated by such abominable ideology.
Many good Catholics are waking up to the fact that not every person wearing a cassock happens to be a good and holy priest. The examples abound. If you can’t think of one, simply tune in to The Vortex and see for yourself as Voris exposes one false prelate after another.
The infiltration of not-so-hoy priests explains all that is happening now. It is pretty clear to me: the “abomination is standing in holy ground.” (Matthew 24:15) It took them about 100 years to get to the point where they can dominate strategic areas of the Vatican Curia and the international Catholic media.
This reminds me of the vision of Pope Leo XIII regarding the century of Satan — truly ordained and authentic priests are holy people, they are dedicated vessels, people sanctified by their own vocation and activity. But the false priests are nothing but infiltrated agents of the enemy, dressed as priests to confound the faithful. The resulting present confusion is as clear as the very signature of the devil. We have been warned.
Exactly 33 years before the Miracle of the Sun, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had an auditory revelation in which he heard a conversation between Our Lord and Satan reminiscent of Job 1:6-12. In that conversation, Satan said to Our Lord that he could destroy the Church in 100 years. Our Lord gave the devil permission to try. Some wise and studious theologians believe that the “century of Satan” began around October of 1917, perhaps on the 31st day of that month — when forty decades of the Protestant Reformation were completed — That anniversary was closely followed by the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and the establishment of the U.S.S.R. That seems to be the moment when the Dragon of Revelation vomited a river of impurity to drown the Church. (See Revelation 12:13-17) That seems to be a prophetic representation of all the abominable ideologies unleashed on the world beginning in the 20th century.
For some of us the blindfolds are indeed off but not for many who are still holding to the belief that those agents of evil infiltrated in the Church somehow will repent and obey their vocation. Well, I have news for you: for those, there was never a religious vocation to begin with! They are not going to repent and become faithful to the holy orders they took under false pretenses.
For us, it is important to respect the offices that those scoundrels have hijacked through deception and lies. Christ said that our liberation will be near when we see this very sign so we must “raise our heads.” Our refuge is prayer and (to the extent that they remain available) the Sacraments.
I am convinced that the hijacking was prefigured by Peter’s words before he was rebuked by Jesus and called a resister.
From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and undergo great suffering at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, ‘God forbid it, Lord! This must never happen to you.’ But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to me; for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things.’ Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? ‘For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done. Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.’ (Matthew 16: 21-28)
In Matthew 16 we see how Peter is given his holy orders. The scene begins with his ordination showing Peter in complete accord with God the Father and also with Christ. Later on, when Christ announces the Cross, Peter tries to steer Jesus away from his mission to redeem mankind through the sufferings of Calvary. Perhaps Peter had in mind the idea common among many Jews: that the Messiah was a brilliant general who would militarily conquer the world and restore the throne of David.
Could it be that this sequence of events in Caesarea described in Matthew 16 were a small scale prophetic model of the history of the papacy? If we assume that for a minute, we can see that perhaps near the end of times, the successor of Peter is going to entertain human thoughts, human ideas, leaving behind the realities of the Cross.
Christ sufferings on the Cross were sufficient for our redemption but we know also that Christ has invited us to participate. Saint Paul taught us that much in Colossians 1:24-26.
I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am completing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church. I became its servant according to God’s commission that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages and generations but has now been revealed to his saints.
The home of the Church is Calvary. As the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church continues to suffer through the ages, accepting Christ invitation to complete the pains and humiliations that He endured for our salvation. In that way He invites us, through the Cross, into His own eternal life of joyful service to the Father. His kingdom is not of this world and that is why human ideas or ideologies will not have any part in it.
All human efforts will be directed not to declare the coming of God’s Kingdom but to create those supranational authorities that prepare the world for the arrival of the Beast. We don’t belong with them, we belong with Christ the Lamb.
“They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
I am convinced we are now witnessing the Passion of the Church. The Mystical Body of Christ, has been completing the sufferings of Christ in Calvary. That will eventually come to a violent end. That is the meaning of the vision of Fatima in which a bishop that [the visionaries] thought was the Holy Father, followed by many priests and religious, ascends a hill towards a rough hewn cross and is shot by soldiers with arrows and bullets. Those arrows and bullets are signs of something important. Arrows are ancient, bullets are modern. Perhaps they represent the entire arc of the history of persecutions of the Church, the instruments that have hurt the Mystical Body of Christ since the Church began her mission.
Twenty centuries have passed since Christ died on the Cross. His glorious Resurrection was the spark that ignited the fire of evangelization throughout the whole world. There are some among us that imagine that the promised return of Christ is just a metaphor. Some may think that the Kingdom is something we have to build ourselves upon this Earth. I know those who think that way are not only wrong but they are placing their souls in mortal danger. With that in mind read the account of the golden calf that Aaron — who was the equivalent of our Pontiff — and the Israelites — who were the Church of that day.
When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered around Aaron and said to him, ‘Come, make gods for us, who shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ Aaron said to them, ‘Take off the gold rings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.’ So all the people took off the gold rings from their ears, and brought them to Aaron. He took the gold from them, formed it in a mold, and cast an image of a calf; and they said, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!’ When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation and said, ‘Tomorrow shall be a festival to the Lord.’ They rose early the next day, and offered burnt-offerings and brought sacrifices of well-being; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel. (Exodus 32:1-6)
The world will continue to develop its project of creating a civilization without Christ. Just like the Hebrews cast the golden calf, this world will continue to try to create its own gods. We know that one part of the Church will be fooled into supporting those ungodly efforts. In my view those are signs showing that our liberation is near.
